Getting started
Three steps from the installer to working in Excel.
Enable it in Excel
Open Excel after installation. If Excel asks you to enable the add-in on first launch, confirm the prompt, then find the Trace Logic tab on the Ribbon. If the tab does not appear, open File → Options → Add-ins, choose COM Add-ins in the Manage list, and click Go. Select Trace Logic and click OK.
Use it in your models
Trace formulas, review a workbook, and try Quick Actions. After the trial, decide whether you need a license.
Your workbooks stay with you
Trace Logic analyzes your model on your computer. Workbook contents are not sent to our servers.
Excel contents
Formulas, values, and workbook files are not sent to the licensing service.
Settings and logs
They remain on your computer. Logs can only be shared manually if you need help or problem diagnosis.
Licensing and updates
The add-in exchanges the technical information needed to check licenses and updates.
